About Golden Valley Mines Ltd. 
Golden Valley Mines typically tests initial grassroots targets while owning a 100% property interest and then seeks partners to continue exploration funding. This allows the Company to continue its generative programs and systematic exploration efforts at other majority-owned grassroots projects. As of May 2, 2008, the Company holds majority property interests in 135 projects consisting of 4,231 mining titles (236,602 hectares) in Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec.
2008 Objectives
Golden Valley Mines established an exploration budget for 2008 in excess of $7.5 million:
- $0.3 million (from treasury) to generate and stake new projects.
- $1.5 million (from treasury) Abitibi Greenstone Belt "Grassroots Exploration Project", Québec and Ontario - to drill test a minimum of 15 100%-owned grass-roots gold and VMS projects (January to December).
- $1.0 million (partner funded) Malartic CHL Gold Project "Osisko Option", Québec - advanced exploration including a significant amount of drilling.
- $2.0 million (partner funded) Otish and Mistassini Uranium Project, Québec ("Lexam Option") - advanced and grassroots exploration including drilling.
- $2.0 million (partner funded) Beartooth Island Uranium Project "Ditem Option", Saskatchewan - advanced exploration including drilling.
- $1.0 million (partner funded) McFaulds Lake Nickel-Copper-PGE Project, Ontario ("Noront & WSR Option") - grassroots exploration.
